Under a new Decision of the Cabinet of Ministers of the Republic of Azerbaijan, the following regulations have been approved:
· Regulations on the registration of insured persons and policyholders with the insurer based on information submitted by policyholders;
· Regulations on determining the insurance amount for insured persons referred to in Article 2-1.1 of the Law of the Republic of Azerbaijan "On Compulsory Insurance against Loss of Occupational Capacity as a Result of Occupational Accidents and Diseases";
· Regulations on the amount and payment procedure of insurance benefits for insured persons referred to in Article 2-1.1 of the same Law;
· Regulations on the use of insurance funds, including the insurance reserve fund.
According to the relevant regulation, the registration of insured persons and policyholders with the insurer will be carried out through the Labour and Employment Subsystem (ƏMAS) of the Centralised Electronic Information System of the Ministry of Labour and Social Protection.
The new regulation also enables insured persons to check their registration information through their personal accounts on the MyGov platform.
Another regulation establishes the formula for calculating the insurance amount under compulsory insurance against occupational accidents and occupational diseases for insured persons covered by Article 2-1.1 of the Law. The insurance amount is calculated individually based on factors such as the insured person's age, annual payroll fund and other criteria.
The regulation also defines the documents required for insurance payments, application procedures, the calculation of insurance benefits, and the rules for suspension and recalculation of monthly insurance payments.
Except for insured persons whose information is subject to confidentiality, insurance payment services will be provided through the ƏMAS system.
Another approved regulation governs the sources of insurance funds, the amount allocated to the insurance reserve fund and the mechanisms for the use of these funds.
