In line with the Great Return Program, the State Employment Agency under the Ministry of Labour and Social Protection of Population continues active employment measures for residents resettled in the liberated territories.
This time, 15 more residents from Aghdam, Khojaly, Lachin, Agdara and Shusha were provided with goods and materials within the framework of the self-employment program.
Officials from the State Employment Agency and the Special Representation of the President of the Republic of Azerbaijan in Khankendi city, Agdara and Khojaly attended the event where the assets were distributed and met with the program participants. They discussed the residents’ future plans related to their newly established farms.
With the provided assets, residents established small businesses in sheep breeding, cattle farming, flour production, tailoring, women’s beauty salon, small photo studio, and other fields.
Program participants expressed their gratitude to President Ilham Aliyev for the support provided. They stated that they would make efforts to continuously expand their farms established under the self-employment program.
Within the framework of the Great Return Program, the number of residents resettled in their native lands who have established small farms through the self-employment program has already reached 460.
