Seventeen individuals who were illegally dismissed from their jobs were reinstated to their previous jobs
During the first quarter of 2025, while reviewing citizen appeals, the State Labour Inspectorate Service under the Ministry of Labour and Social Protection of Population identified delays in the payment of over 80000 manats in social-related payments by employers to employees.
As a result of the measures taken, the delayed payments were ensured to be paid to the employees by the employers. Of the total amount, 93% consisted of wages, while the rest included benefits, and compensations, to be paid by the employers, and compensation for damages.
Additionally, during the investigation of complaints, the Service found that the employment contracts of 17 individuals were unlawfully terminated in violation of labour legislation. As a result of the actions taken by the Service, these employees were reinstated to their previous positions.
