During the period of January–July this year, the “Voluntary DOST” programme received 24,000 applications, with 928 individuals joining the programme.
This programme, which plays an important role in the expansion of the volunteer movement in Azerbaijan, operates through subprogrammes such as “Young DOST”, “Silver DOST” (for seniors), “Remote DOST”, “Corporate DOST”, and “Inclusive DOST”.
Volunteers assist in DOST centres with welcoming citizens, directing them to service windows, managing citizen flows and queues, providing information, supporting the use of e-systems, and other related activities.
They contribute to the delivery of state social services through the “single window” system based on the principle of citizen satisfaction.
The programme supports participants in gaining experience and professional skills in the field of citizen services, while also fostering their personal development and serving as their first successful step towards a career.
