International experts and official representatives gathered in Kazan, Russia, to discuss expanding partnerships in various fields and new opportunities for socio-economic development as part of the 16th International Economic Forum - "Russia-Islamic World: KazanForum".
Deputy Minister of Labour and Social Protection of Population Rashad Mustafayev participated in an expert session on "Pensions and social insurance: improving legislation" held within the framework of the Forum. He highlighted the achievements of the reforms carried out in the social sphere, including the pension and social insurance system, in Azerbaijan in recent years.
Noting the work on establishing a fair and modern insurance and pension system, improving legislation in this area, as well as the wide application of innovative solutions, Rashad Mustafayev also provided information on the proactive services applied in the appointment of pensions and other social payments, which are highly appreciated at the international level.
Azerbaijan's experience in reforms in the mentioned areas was met with interest by the event participants and was evaluated as a successful model that could serve as an example for other countries in the process of future reforms.
Experts discussed issues of improving the legislative framework in the field of pensions and social insurance, as well as modern mechanisms for the formation and implementation of citizens' pension rights.
