When a person receiving an old-age pension continues to work after retirement, their pension is recalculated and increased once they complete six years of employment following the pension award.
Since the end of last year, the Ministry of Labour and Social Protection of the Population has been carrying out this recalculation automatically through a proactive mechanism.
Since the introduction of the proactive mechanism, the pensions of more than 1,300 working old-age pensioners have been recalculated and increased following the completion of the six-year employment period.
Individuals whose pensions have been recalculated are also informed through SMS notifications.
