The “PeşəFest-2025” festival of the State Employment Agency (SEA) under the Ministry of Labour and Social Protection of Population was held once again in Tovuz.
Organized under the motto “Learn a profession, build your future!”, the festival aims to support young people and students in choosing a profession and to ensure they take the right step in their career path.
The event was attended by the Head of Tovuz District Executive Authority (DEA) Mammad Mammadov, Member of Parliament Nizami Safarov, Chairman of the Board of SEA Sadiq Aliyev, as well as representatives of public and private organizations from nearby districts and members of the public.
Head of Tovuz DEA M.Mammadov highly appreciated the role of “PeşəFest” in increasing the interest of teenagers and young people of the district in professions and in helping them make career choices in line with the demands of the labour market.
Member of Parliament N.Safarov noted the special role of “PeşəFest” in enabling young people to build successful careers, in providing them with comprehensive information about modern professions, and in forming a visual understanding of these professions.
Chairman of the SEA S.Aliyev, in his speech, emphasized that “PeşəFest” is an interactive career-oriented project covering 11 economic regions of the country, serving to introduce various professions to young people and teenagers and to support them in choosing a career.
Then professionals gave presentations according to their specialties, highlighting the features of the professions they represented. They also shared their recommendations on career choices with the festival participants.

At the festival, awareness-raising events are organized in 14 professions (cybersecurity, data analytics, helpdesk, 3D animator, jewelry designer, tourism organizer, carpenter, car repair locksmith, food engineer, confectioner, rescuer, barista, dental technician, and veterinarian).
By participating in the festival, attendees gain useful information about ways to develop in these professional fields, the skills required, and career choice opportunities, as well as a chance to interact with experts.
