An info tour to the National Observatory for Labour Market and Social Protection Affairs under the Ministry of Labour and Social Protection of Population was organized for representatives of civil society institutions, including members of the Public Council under the Ministry.
As part of the info tour, participants observed the test examination stage of recruitment competitions conducted at the Assessment Center of the National Observatory for filling vacant positions in the Ministry’s subordinate public entities.
During a meeting with NGO representatives, Nermin Bayramova, Head of the Ministry’s Civil Service and Human Resources Department, provided information about the recruitment process for the vacant positions, while Elnur Safarli, Chairman of the Board of the National Observatory, briefed participants on the activities of the Assessment Center.
A presentation was delivered on the two-stage recruitment competitions organized to fill vacant positions. Participants were informed about the assessment mechanisms and transparency principles applied throughout the process, with emphasis placed on ensuring objectivity and equal opportunities at every stage.
It was noted that during the examination stage of the competition, candidates are presented with 50 multiple-choice questions. These questions are designed to assess candidates’ professional knowledge, analytical thinking skills, and suitability for the position.
Participants of the info tour were also informed about the interview stage of the competition. It was explained that this stage provides a more in-depth assessment of candidates’ communication skills, professional qualifications, and overall suitability for the job.
At the end of the event, the questions of NGO representatives were answered, and an exchange of views took place.
