Head of the NGO Affairs Sector of the Department of Work with NGOs and Communication of the Administration of the President of the Republic of Azerbaijan, Tural Aliyev, met with members of the Public Council under the Ministry of Labour and Social Protection of Population.
The official of the Administration of the President congratulated the newly elected members of the council on this occasion and wished success in the council's activities. He emphasized that special importance is attached to the active participation of NGOs in various spheres of state and social life, public participation.
The role of the Public Council in implementing public control over the activities of the Ministry of Labour and Social Protection of Population and the tasks facing the council were discussed, and proposals and recommendations were made.
Head of the Office of the Ministry of Labour and Social Protection of Population, Fuad Musayev, noted the successful activities of the Public Council under the Ministry over the past two years.
Discussions were held on issues related to strengthening the public oversight functions of NGOs, the proposals of the council members were listened to, and their questions were answered.
