Individuals covered by President Ilham Aliyev's Order on pardoning a number of convicted persons have been involved in social rehabilitation measures.
For this purpose, the Social Services Agency under the Ministry of Labour and Social Protection of Population is working together with the Penitentiary Service and Probation Service of the Ministry of Justice.
At the initial stage, the Agency's specialists assessed 62 people from this category in order to measure their need for social and psychological services.
Based on the results of the assessment, work has been started in this area with the aim of involving those in need in social and psychological assistance services.
As part of the ongoing process, these persons are also provided with social and legal and social counseling services, and work is being carried out on their social rehabilitation and integration into society.
