The State Employment Agency under the Ministry of Labour and Social Protection of Population achieved significant success at the World Congress of the World Association of Public Employment Services (WAPES).
The Agency was elected by a majority vote as a member of the Board of Directors of the organization for the European region for 2025–2028.
The State Employment Agency, which has been a member of WAPES since 2007, actively cooperates with this organization to expand international cooperation and improve active employment measures.
The representation of the State Employment Agency in the management board of this reputable organization for the European region is another manifestation of the high international appreciation of this cooperation and the achievements of the consistent reforms implemented in the field of employment in our country.
During his membership in the board of the institution, the Agency will participate in making important decisions in the field of regulating the global labour market, as well as promoting inclusive employment measures.
It should be noted that WAPES is an influential international platform that brings together public employment services from more than 80 countries around the world and is aimed at international exchange of experience in the field of employment policies and effective management of the labour market.
