The Ministry of Labor and Social Protection of the Population is reported to do final medical check-ups as part of the medical certification process for citizens who are called up for active military duty, starting on July 1.
Medical Assessment Center equipped with the latest modern equipment was established under the Ministry's State Medical-Social Expertise and Rehabilitation Agency for this purpose.
The conscripts received feedback in four categories from qualified medical professionals who were center specialists:
- on non-ordinary fitness for active military service ("B" category);
- on postponement of conscription by being considered temporarily unfit for active military service due to health conditions ("Category "C");
- about unfitness for active military service in peacetime, limited fitness in wartime ("C" category);
- on unfitness for military service both in peacetime and in wartime (category "D")
final medical examination is being conducted.
Based on the results of the final medical examination, the Medical Evaluation Commission makes one of the following decisions:
- the cause of unfitness is confirmed under the same category;
- the cause of unfitness is confirmed under a different category;
- the cause of unfitness is not confirmed in any category.
At the end, the decision on the examination is entered into the electronic system, and the summoner is informed about the decision electronically.
