The final stage of the mini-football tournament dedicated to the memory of the Great Leader Heydar Aliyev was held among the employees of the Ministry of Labour and Social Protection of Population.
Among those watching the final game were the Minister of Labour and Social Protection of Population Anar Aliyev, Chairman of the Azerbaijan Trade Unions Confederation Sahib Mammadov and others.
First, the teams of the State Medical-Social Expertise and Rehabilitation Agency under the Ministry and the State Social Protection Fund fought for 3rd place. The team of the State Social Protection Fund won with a score of 3:0 and took 3rd place in the championship.
Then the final game took place. The teams of the State Employment Agency and the Social Services Agency under the Ministry fought for 1st place.
In a tense match, the main part of which ended 0-0, the team of the State Employment Agency defeated its opponent in a penalty shootout and became the winner of the mini-football championship held under the Ministry.
Anar Aliyev, Sahib Mammadov, Deputy Ministers of Labour and Social Protection of Population Vusal Nasirli and Hidayat Abdullayev presented diplomas to the referees who officiated the final games and the most productive player of the tournament, a cup, diplomas and medals to the champion team, and diplomas and medals to the teams that took 2nd and 3rd places.
A total of 12 teams consisting of employees of the Ministry competed in the mini-football championship, which started on May 10.
