The functional capabilities of the “Labour and Employment” subsystem are being continuously expanded, and several new functionalities will be added to this e-system.
This was mentioned during an info session on the work done and reforms carried out by the State Labour Inspectorate Service under the Ministry of Labour and Social Protection of Population. Anar Aliyev, the Minister of Labour and Social Protection of Population, highlighted the steps taken in recent years in the digitization of labour relations and the introduction of innovative oversight mechanisms for the labour market.
It was also noted that new opportunities have been created in the "Labour and Employment" subsystem for electronic signing and modification of labour contracts, digitalization of orders, official correspondence between employees and employers, medical certificates, and more.
The expansion of e-monitoring mechanisms in labour relations and the complete electronic documentation of personnel record-keeping processes are ongoing. It was noted that a section on occupational health and safety will also be created in the "Labour and Employment" subsystem, and new services for employers will be offered through this e-system.
The successful continuation of the transition to the electronic labour contract system was emphasized. Proactive e-monitoring measures for compliance with labour legislation were discussed, and it was highlighted that work on the e-audit module has already been completed.
The “DOST Inspector” project, aimed at supporting employers in the correct application of labour legislation in workplaces, and the ongoing improvements to the Occupational Safety Center under the Service were also mentioned. Continuous awareness-raising measures on labour legislation for employers and employees in the liberated territories were discussed.
It was reported that the Technical Committee on Standardization in the “Labour Sector,” operating under the chairmanship of the State Labour Inspectorate Service, has already developed 57 new national standards in the labour sector, which have been adopted as state standards by the Azerbaijan Institute of Standardization.
