The Ministry of Labor and Social Protection of Population has won awards for the first time in international competitions organized by the International Telecommunication Union of the United Nations.
The Ministry's "Graduate Employment Rating" project has won the organization's "WSIS Prizes 2025" international competition in the "E-Employment" category. In the competition, in which about 1000 projects participated, the Ministry's technological solution was selected as one of 18 winners and won the organization's winning prize.
The "Graduate Employment Rating" project is a digital platform that openly presents information based on the employment indicators of graduates of higher education institutions to the public. The project serves to strengthen the relationship between education and the labour market, and to support the professional choice of young people.
The Ministry also won the organization's "WSIS Photo 2025" photo competition. The photo taken by an employee of the DOST Digital Innovation Center under the Ministry was selected as one of the 10 winners out of hundreds of photos. The photo is being exhibited at the “WSIS+20 High-Level Event 2025” exhibition of the World Summit on the Information Society, held in Switzerland on July 7-11.
It should be noted that the World Summit on the Information Society is a platform that supports the implementation of the UN Sustainable Development Goals and brings together numerous stakeholders. The event creates unique opportunities for identifying new trends in the information society, exchanging experiences and best practices.
At the same time, the Ministry’s “Digital Platform for Rehabilitation and Abilitation Services” project was awarded the Certificate of Nomination in the “E-Health” category. This project serves to form an inclusive social service model by providing easier and digital access to rehabilitation services for people with disabilities.
