The next stage of “PeşəFest-2025,” organized by the State Employment Agency (SEA) under the Ministry of Labour and Social Protection of Population, was held in Bilasuvar.
The festival, held under the motto “Learn a Profession, Build Your Future!”, aims to support youth and students in their career choices and help them take the right steps toward their professional development.
The event was attended by Faiq Gurbanov, Head of Bilasuvar District Executive Authority; Member of Parliament Bahruz Maharramov; Hasil Abbasov, Deputy Chairman of the SEA; as well as leaders of state and private organizations and representatives of the public from surrounding districts.
In his opening speech, F. Gurbanov highlighted the significant role of “PeşəFest” in increasing teenagers’ and young people’s interest in professions and helping them make career choices aligned with labor market demands.
MP B. Maharramov emphasized the festival’s special role in supporting youth to build successful careers, gain comprehensive knowledge about modern professions, and form a practical understanding of professional fields.
H. Abbasov, Deputy Chairman of the SEA, stated that “PeşəFest” is an interactive career-oriented project covering the country’s 11 economic regions, designed to introduce youth and teenagers to various professions and assist them in choosing their career paths.
Following the speeches, professionals gave presentations on their respective specialties, highlighting the features of the professions they represent and providing participants with advice on career selection.

The festival provides educational activities in 14 professions, including cybersecurity, data analytics, helpdesk, 3D animation, jewelry design, tourism organization, carpentry, automotive repair locksmith, food engineering, confectionery, rescue services, barista, dental technician, and veterinary medicine.
By participating in the festival, attendees gain valuable information on ways to advance in these professions, the required skills, and guidance on choosing a specialty, as well as the opportunity to interact with professionals in the field.
