The next vocational training course organized within the framework of fruitful cooperation between the Mine Action Agency of the Republic of Azerbaijan (ANAMA) and the State Employment Agency under the Ministry of Labour and Social Protection of Population has ended.
ANAMA held “Humanitarian Mine Action” and “Battlefield Clearance” trainings for new participants who are expected to participate in humanitarian mine action operations. The main purpose of the theoretical and practical trainings conducted is to teach the participants involved in the trainings knowledge and skills in humanitarian mine action and battlefield clearance.
Along with the mentioned trainings, training courses on “Life Safety Engineering” were also organized for participants within the framework of cooperation with the State Employment Agency. 48 participants were involved in the course.
Knowledge such as technical standards and safety, basics of first aid, evacuation of victims, risk management, and technical safety rules were shared with the participants.
With this, the number of participants involved in the courses organized within the framework of cooperation between ANAMA and the State Employment Agency has reached 195.
It should be noted that these individuals are already participating in humanitarian demining activities carried out in the liberated territories, contributing to the operations of clearing the territories from mines and other explosive remnants of war.
