The State Labor Inspectorate Service under the Ministry of Labor and Social Protection of the Population organized an infotour for a group of employers operating in the liberated territories, visiting the Livestock Breeding Centre located in the “Zerti Agro-Industrial Park” in the Lachin, and the “LATIFA” Lachin sewing factory.
The infotour aimed to familiarize participants with the measures implemented at both enterprises to ensure healthy and safe working conditions, as well as to enhance their understanding of the application of occupational safety and health regulations in workplaces in the liberated territories and the best practices applied in this field.
The participants were provided with detailed information on the occupational safety and health management system in place at the enterprises, workplace risk assessment procedures, the use of personal protective equipment, the implementation of new state standards, and other related matters.
It was noted that the Service carries out consistent educational activities on labor protection and labor rights in the liberated territories. These activities provide detailed information on concluding employment contracts in accordance with legislation, the provision of healthy and safe working conditions, the implementation of new state standards for labor protection, as well as mine safety regulations.
