The next meeting of the commission established to resolve issues related to the rehabilitation of military personnel injured during military operations conducted for the territorial integrity of our country was held.
The chairman of the Commission, Minister of Labour and Social Protection of Population Anar Aliyev emphasized that after the Patriotic War, which ended with our historic Victory, large-scale social support work was carried out for the families of martyrs and persons with war-related disabilities, on the instructions of President Ilham Aliyev.
It was noted that an important direction of these works is aimed at the medical and social rehabilitation of persons with war-related disabilities. It was noted that the modern rehabilitation infrastructure created in recent years plays an important role in this area. Those disabled in the war are provided with high-quality rehabilitation treatment services by widely using effective physiotherapeutic treatment methods, modern methodologies and technologies in rehabilitation centers
The consistent work carried out in this area has a positive effect on their rehabilitation and recovery. Also, rehabilitation facilities are being provided to people with war-related disabilities, including the latest generation of high-tech prostheses.
The meeting presented the results of the work done to provide people with war-related disabilities with treatment and rehabilitation services, their social integration, and social support, and discussed the results of this work.
It should be noted that the Commission includes the Deputy Ministers of Defense and Health, the Head of the Main Medical Department of the Ministry of Defense, the Deputy Chairman of the Board of the State Agency on Mandatory Health Insurance, the Executive Director of the Management Union of Medical Territorial Units, the Chairman of the Board of the State Medical and Social Expertise and Rehabilitation Agency under the Ministry of Labour and Social Protection of Population, and authorized persons from state bodies with military-medical commissions and medical-flight commissions under their jurisdiction.
