In order to improve our country's position in this rating, it is implementing important legislative and institutional reforms in the areas of regulating labour relations, strengthening equality principles, labour protection and preventing forced labour.
Within the framework of “Business Ready”, issues such as the prohibition of child labour and forced labour, transparent and free conclusion of labour contracts, social insurance and safe working conditions are special assessment components, and Azerbaijan ensures compliance with international standards in these areas.
