In order to support employment of citizens and the socio-economic development of the region in the territories liberated from occupation, effective cooperation has been established between the Mine Action Agency of The Republic of Azerbaijan (ANAMA) and the State Employment Agency under the Ministry of Labour and Social Protection of Population.
As part of this collaboration, ANAMA has conducted “Humanitarian Mine Clearance” and “Battlefield Clearance” training sessions for new trainees expected to take part in humanitarian demining operations. The main goal of these theoretical and practical trainings is to equip trainees with the necessary knowledge and skills in humanitarian and battlefield demining.
In addition to these trainings, and within the framework of cooperation with the State Employment Agency, trainees also received preparatory courses on the topic of “Engineering of Life Safety.”
Held at ANAMA’s mobile base in Gubadli with the participation of representatives from the Karabakh Vocational Training Center of the State Employment Agency, the training and courses covered topics such as the basics of first aid, evacuation of the injured, hazard management, and technical safety regulations.
Certificates were awarded to 137 individuals who successfully completed the training and courses during a ceremony held at the administrative building of the Karabakh Vocational Training Center in Barda.
It should be noted that these individuals are already participating in ongoing humanitarian demining activities in the liberated territories, contributing to the clearance of mines and other explosive remnants of war.
