Minister of Labour and Social Protection of Population Anar Aliyev and Head of Ismayilli Executive Authority Nahid Baghirov visited small farms established for district residents Samira Hasanova and Khatira Talibli under the self-employment program.
Provided with assets through the self-employment program, S. Hasanova set up a women’s beauty salon, thereby establishing a small business in this field. Supported by the program, Kh. Talibli expanded her tailoring workshop and went on to establish a fashion house. In cooperation with the Goychay Vocational Training Center under the State Employment Agency, tailoring courses have also been organized at this facility.
Both participants of the program expressed their gratitude to the head of state for the support provided to enable unemployed and job-seeking individuals to start small businesses and create their own farms.
It should be noted that, to date, 1,631 small farms have been established in the Ismayilli under the self-employment program.
A visit was also made to the day care center established in Ismayilli as part of a project implemented upon the order of the Social Services Agency under the Ministry.
At the center, social workers, educators, psychologists, and other specialists work to support children with disabilities and those belonging to other vulnerable groups in developing cognitive, emotional, and physical skills, as well as acquiring basic reading and writing abilities.
