Family members of military servicemen and employees of internal affairs bodies can check in “One-off payment” service placed on the Ministry's website the right to receive one-off payment by including the surname, name and patronymic of the military servant or employee of internal affairs bodies. As a result of the search, "the heir (heirs) of the military serviceman or employee of internal affairs bodies has the right to receive one-time payment, determined in accordance with the Civil Code of the Republic of Azerbaijan", heir shall apply to the notary’s office at the last residence of the deceased military serviceman or employee of internal affairs bodies, or, if this is not known, applies to the notary's office at the place of his/her own residence. The heir of the military serviceman or employee of internal affairs bodies shall be certified by the notary office in the following documents: - certificate of death of the serviceman or employee of internal affairs bodies; - the court's decision on the case if it has been declared dead for missing due to military operations; - application addressed to the Ministry of Labor and Social Protection of Population on granting one-time payment. The application form is obtained from the notary office; - bank account number reference. In the absence of a bank account, he / she opens an account on his / her bank and receives a certificate of bank account number. Additional documents may also be required by the notary body to determine the inheritance. For example: birth, marriage, death certificates etc.
In case of the right of a heir of a military serviceman or employee of internal affairs body to take one-time payment, a notarial certificate shall be issued.
The certificate of inheritance and the documents submitted by the heir shall be transmitted electronically by the notary within 3 working days to the Central Information System of the Ministry of Labor and Social Protection of Population.
Once the information is entered into the system, the notification of their entry date and the registry number will be sent to one of the contact numbers registered in the application, in accordance with the sequence of receipt of applications.
The Ministry of Labor and Social Protection of Population shall apply to the Ministry of Finance for the purpose of allocating the funds required for the lump-sum payment.
After allocation of the required funding, the lump-sum payment is transferred to the bank account of the heir in accordance with the sequence of receipt of applications by the Ministry of Labor and Social Protection of Population. A notification will be sent to one of the contact numbers specified in the application.
If the heirs of the servicemen or employees of internal affairs bodies live on a permanent basis outside the country, they shall apply to the diplomatic representation and consulate of the Republic of Azerbaijan in the country with the required documents.
