Implementation of the tasks assigned to the Ministry of Labor and Social Protection of Population in the Action Plan of the Strategic Roadmaps on the National Economy and Key Sectors of the Economy
As it is known, Strategic Roadmaps for National Economy and Key Sectors of the Economy were approved by Decree No. 1138 of the President of the Republic of Azerbaijan dated December 6, 2016.
Work Plans (total 7 Work Plans) were approved by the Ministry’s order No. 17020032225 dated June 23, 2017 in order to fulfill tasks assigned to the Ministry in the Action Plan.
In total, the Ministry of Labor and Social Protection has been tasked with 7 strategic roadmaps. (Strategic Roadmap for the Promotion of National Economy of the Republic of Azerbaijan (4 events ), Strategic Roadmap for Production and Processing of Agricultural Products in Azerbaijan ( 11 events ), Strategic Road Map for the Development of Heavy Industry and Machine Building in the Republic of Azerbaijan ( 2 events ), "Strategic Roadmap for the Development of Vocational Education and Training in the Republic of Azerbaijan" ( 17 events in total ), "Strategic Roadmap for Consumer Goods Production in Small and Medium Enterprises in the Republic of Azerbaijan" ( total 4 events), "Strategic Road Map for the development of affordable housing in the Republic of Azerbaijan" ( 6 events ), "Strategic Roadmap for the development of utilities (electricity and heat, water and gas) in the Republic of Azerbaijan" ( 2 events ). In general: 46 events.
In addition, were created working groups from representatives of the relevant structural units of the Ministry and other agencies identified as coordinators for the main actions of the Ministry of Labor and Social Protection of Population ( generally 3 activities ) according to the Strategic Roadmaps' "Implementation, Monitoring and Evaluation" section:
- Working Group for the 1.1.1. section of the Action Plan of the Strategic Roadmap for the Development of Vocational Education and Training in the Republic of Azerbaijan (identifying employment areas of the labor market and personnel requirements for strategic forecasting) (Head of Working Group Elnur Suleymanov, Head of the Department of Employment Policy and Demography)

2. Working Group for the Section 9.3.3 of the Action Plan of the Strategic Road Map for the Production and Processing of Agricultural Products in the Republic of Azerbaijan (ensuring active participation of women and youth in the social and public life of the village) (Head of the Working Group, Deputy Head of the Department of Employment Policy and Demography Rena Abdullayeva);

3. Working Group for the 1.1.5 section (Improvement of human resources in the utilities sector) of the Action Plan of the Strategic Roadmap for the Development of Utilities (Electricity and Thermal Energy, Water and Gas in the Republic of Azerbaijan)

According to the Strategic Roadmap's "Performance, Monitoring and Evaluation" section, meetings of the Working Groups are held on a quarterly basis under the guidance of the main implementing agency. At the meetings are discussed activities fulfilled during the quarter and activities intended for the next period. Working groups operate on an annual action plan.
Meetings of working groups on the items, for which the main executor is the Ministry of Labor and Social Protection of the Population, were held on 11, 12 July, 3 August, 16, 19 and 20 October. The action plans of the working groups and reports on the work done before the first half of 2017 have been submitted to road map coordinators.
At the same time, for the sections where the Ministry is co-executor, the employees of the Ministry took active part in the work of the working groups created in other organizations and submitted their proposals to the main implementing agencies.
