This leave covers both the period before and after the birth of the child.
The employer formalizes the decision to grant paid paternity leave to the employee electronically through the Ministry of Labour and Social Protection of the Population’s “Labour and Employment” subsystem.
It should be noted that one of the recent amendments to labour legislation is the provision granting men the right to 14 calendar days of paid paternity leave in connection with the birth of their child.
