As part of the project of the Social Services Agency under the Ministry of Labour and Social Protection of Population on children with disabilities, social rehabilitation centers have started operating in 27 cities and regions.
These centers, established on the basis of the social orders of the Agency, cover Agjabadi, Aghstafa, Balakan, Barda, Dashkasan, Fuzuli, Kurdamir, Ganja, Goygol, Gakh, Gazakh, Gabala, Gobustan, Mingachevir, Naftalan, Oghuz, Sabirabad, Samukh, Shabran, Shamakhi, Sheki, Tartar, Tovuz, Yardimli, Yevlakh, Zagatala and Zardab.
The newly launched centers provide social-psychological rehabilitation and habilitation services to children with disabilities. Within the framework of these services, psychological training is conducted with children individually and in groups, as well as their social communication and self-care skills are developed.
The aim of the project is to support the integration of children with disabilities into society by providing them with social rehabilitation services. The project aims to provide services to a total of 1400 children with disabilities.
