Benefits and stipends have been increased starting today

According to the Decree of President Ilham Aliyev, as part of the next, and in the period since 2018, the 5th social reform package, benefits and pensions have been increased from today - July 1, and the following amounts have been determined:

The monthly Presidential stipend for the family of a martyr, the family of a January 20 martyr, and the families of soldiers killed in Afghanistan - 700 manats;

The monthly Presidential stipend for persons with disabilities related to the war, the January 20 events, the fulfillment of military service duties and military service at the Chernobyl NPP, the following amounts of bodily functions:

For 81-100 percent impairment (I degree) - 600 manats;
For 61-80 percent impairment (II degree) - 500 manats;
For 31-60 percent impairment (III degree) - 400 manats;

Monthly Presidential stipend to Heroes of the Patriotic War — 2200 manat;
Monthly Presidential stipend to National Heroes of Azerbaijan — 2000 manat;
Personal stipend of the President of the Republic of Azerbaijan — 1700 manat;
The lump-sum allowance for childbirth — 600 manat;
The lump-sum allowance for funeral expenses — 600 manat;

Monthly allowance for a disabled child given to a foster family:

For a child aged 0-6 — 500 manat;
For a child aged 7-13 — 600 manat;
For a child aged 14-18 — 650 manat;

Allowance for persons with disabilities, for:

81-100 percent impairment of body functions (I degree) — 300 manat;
For a 61-80 percent impairment (II degree) — 250 manat;
For 31-60 percent impairment (III degree) — 180 manat;

Monthly stipend of the President for persons with visual impairment due to 81-100 percent impairment of body functions (I degree) due to general causes — 350 manat;

Monthly stipend of the President for persons with disabilities due to 81-100 percent impairment of body functions (I degree) due to general causes (except for persons with visual impairment) — 250 manat;

Monthly allowance for each adopted child — 240 manat;

Monthly allowance for loss of the head of the family (for each family member) — 140 manat;

Monthly allowance for each child for low-income families with children under one year old (recipients of targeted assistance) — 140 manat;

Monthly allowance for each child for women with more than five children — 140 manat;

Monthly allowance for children of servicemen on active military service (per child) — 140 manat;

Monthly allowance for guardians of children who have lost their parents and are deprived of parental care — 140 manat;

Monthly stipend of the President for those who care for children with 81-100 percent impairment of body functions (I degree) and disabilities — 120 manat;

Monthly stipend for persons awarded honorary titles:

For the honorary title of “People” — 300 manat,
For the honorary title of “Honored” — 200 manat.

Thus, citizens whose benefits and stipends have been increased will receive those payments in increased amounts starting this month.

In general, the annual funds allocated for benefits and stipends payments under the 5 social reform packages implemented in 2018-2025 have increased 5 times.

It should be noted that, within the framework of the new social reform package implemented in accordance with the Decree of the Head of State dated December 23, 2024, the minimum monthly wage in our country has been increased to 400 manats since the beginning of this year, the minimum pension has been increased to 320 manats since February 1, and all types of pensions have been indexed by 8,1 percent since the beginning of the year.

Under the next social reform package implemented since the beginning of the current year, wages, pensions, benefits and stipends for a total of 3 million people have been increased, and an additional 1,4 billion manats have been allocated annually for these increases.
