Legislative changes that provide for the registration of insured persons with the insurer only on the basis of the Personal Identification Number (PIN) of the ID card come into force today.
Thus, when registering insured persons and submitting quarterly reports on insured persons (employers) by insurers (employers), it is no longer required to provide their social security number (SSN).
Starting from today, newly hired and previously employed persons will not be required to provide their social security number (SSN).
The mentioned changes serve to simplify administrative procedures in the field of social insurance with innovative solutions, to implement faster and more accurate information exchange, to strengthen integration between electronic systems, as well as to optimize administrative procedures in the social insurance system.
