The State Medical-Social Expertise and Rehabilitation Agency under the Ministry of Labour and Social Protection of Population has provided home-based (mobile) rehabilitation services to nearly 800 persons with disabilities who experience difficulties leaving their place of residence.
More than 2 thousand rehabilitation services have been delivered to these individuals.
A person with a disability (or their legal representative) wishing to benefit from these mobile services may apply through the Ministry’s “142” Call Center, DOST centers, or the relevant Medical-Social Expert Commission in their area.
Based on the application, a mobile team consisting of doctors and psychologists from the Agency’s rehabilitation centers visits the individual’s residence to conduct an initial examination and assessment.
Following the assessment, an individualized rehabilitation plan is prepared. Under this plan, the person receives rehabilitation services for a specified period, including medical and psychological examinations, speech therapy sessions, therapeutic massage, physical rehabilitation exercises, occupational therapy, and other rehabilitation services.
