The expansion of the DOST infrastructure continues, ensuring that DOST services will be accessible in every region of the country.
This was stated by the Chairman of the DOST Agency Supervisory Board, Minister of Labour and Social Protection of Population, Anar Aliyev, during the Board’s latest meeting.
He noted that, following the Decree of President Ilham Aliyev dated August 9, 2018, the DOST Agency now operates seven DOST centers, one DOST branch, and one “Smart DOST” service point.
Thanks to the DOST concept, initiated by First Vice-President Mehriban Aliyeva, state social services are delivered “through a single window” using modern, flexible, fully transparent, and innovative mechanisms.
It was highlighted that nearly 3.8 million citizens have accessed DOST services to date, with a citizen satisfaction rate of 98.6 percent.
The DOST concept has received more than 60 international awards and certificates, including 12 “Good Practice for Europe” awards. The interest in adopting the DOST model is growing among countries worldwide, recognizing it as a new brand of Azerbaijan.
The meeting also addressed the ongoing efforts to establish DOST centers and branches across regions. Farid Mammadov, Chairman of the DOST Agency Board, presented a report on the Agency’s activities. Additionally, the operations of DOST centers, strategic objectives, and priorities were discussed.
