With the Decree signed by President Ilham Aliyev in March this year, the Statute of the DOST Agency and the list of services provided at DOST centers have been improved, increasing the number of these services from 156 to 161.
This was reported at the next meeting of the DOST Agency's Supervisory Board. The Chairman of the Board, Minister of Labour and Social Protection of Population Anar Aliyev, highlighted that the DOST concept, initiated by First Vice President Mehriban Aliyeva, ensures that state social services are provided through modern, flexible, and fully transparent mechanisms via a "single window."
It was noted that 3,4 million citizens, including 213000 in the first quarter of this year, have benefited from DOST services, with citizen satisfaction standing at 98.5%.
It was also mentioned that since May 2019, the DOST Agency has opened 7 regional DOST centers, the DOST branch in Shusha, and the “Smart DOST” station in Agali village. Efforts to expand the DOST center network across the country continue.
The Regional DOST Center being built in the city of Nakhchivan is expected to open this year. Additionally, projects and renovation and construction work are underway to establish DOST infrastructure in Guba, Sabirabad, Sumgayit, Ganja, and Masalli.
At the meeting, the DOST Agency's report for the first quarter of this year was presented, and the activities of DOST centers, various issues, strategic goals, and priorities were discussed.
