An event titled “A Day in Shusha” was organised jointly by the Karabakh DOST House department of the DOST Inclusive Development and Creativity Centre under the Ministry of Labour and Social Protection of the Population and the “Regional Development” Public Union.
The event was held with the support of the Shusha City State Reserve Administration and was attended by beneficiaries from vulnerable groups of the Karabakh DOST House, their parents and volunteers of the “Regional Development” Public Union.
As part of the event, an exhibition featuring handicrafts created by children and young people from vulnerable groups was held. Participants attended master classes in visual arts, wood carving, weaving and embroidery, gaining practical skills in these areas.
The programme also included visits to the Uzeyir Hajibeyli House Museum and the Shusha branch of the Azerbaijan National Carpet Museum, as well as an information tour of the central square of Shusha.
At the end of the event, the volunteers of the “Regional Development” Public Union presented participants with commemorative gifts.
