Today marks the second anniversary of DOST TV, the television solution of the DOST Concept.
Launched on April 2, 2024, as the country’s first example of a social and inclusive television platform, DOST TV has steadily strengthened its position, presence, and reputation in the media space through engaging programs focused on social issues of interest to citizens.
Broadcast live every working day via its YouTube channel, the platform presents a comprehensive overview of the country’s social life and makes a valuable contribution to public awareness on labour, employment, social protection, ongoing reforms, innovations, and social rights.
DOST TV has gained the interest and appreciation of its audience through programs such as “DOST News,” “DOST Door,” “Social Hour,” “Care,” “Expert Opinion,” “Work Hour,” “My Story,” “Digital Hour,” “At Your Service,” “Let’s Learn Together,” “Online Inspector,” “Point of Support,” and “DOST Podcast,” as well as joint media projects with various institutions.
Its inclusive initiatives—such as “Surdo-Info,” “Let’s Learn Together for an Inclusive Society!,” “Sensitive Moments,” and “My Story,” along with films and performances presented with sign language interpretation—reflect DOST TV’s commitment to promoting inclusive values and supporting the development of an inclusive society.
DOST TV also broadcasts important social sector events live and serves as a discussion platform where representatives of the Ministry of Labour and Social Protection of the Population, civil society institutions, and experts engage in dialogue on current social issues.
At the same time, it acts as a “DOST Door” for its audience—through this program, viewers’ inquiries are answered directly (nearly 800 citizen requests to date), and social issues reflected in submitted video appeals are investigated and supported toward resolution.
With its audience steadily expanding and total social media views exceeding 15 million, we wish DOST TV continued success in its future activities.
