This year as well, on the occasion of “Knowledge Day,” the DOST Agency delighted schoolchildren living in remote mountain villages.
Within the framework of the “DOST Joy” project, school supplies collected by our employees and participants of the “Volunteer DOST” program were presented as gifts to primary schoolchildren living in remote mountain villages.
In total, 276 schoolchildren received school supplies at the secondary schools of Lahij, Kurdmashi, Khanagah, and Tazakand villages of the Ismayilli, as well as at the Ismayilli Child and Youth Development Center for children from neighboring villages.
The purpose of the project, implemented with the organization of the “Volunteer DOST” program, was to promote corporate social responsibility, to further raise public awareness in the district about the “DOST” concept, as well as to bring joy to schoolchildren, especially to children starting first grade, and to instill in them the importance of education.
We extend our gratitude to every DOST employee and volunteer who took part in the implementation of this project.
