The Supervisory Board of the DOST Agency held its next meeting.
The establishment of new DOST centers, branches, and service points remains among the key priorities for this year, and further steps will be taken to expand the DOST service network across the country.
This was stated at the meeting of the Supervisory Board of the DOST Agency. The Chair of the Board, Minister of Labour and Social Protection of the Population Anar Aliyev, emphasized that the DOST model — one of the significant achievements of the social reforms carried out in recent years in accordance with the instructions of President Ilham Aliyev — ensures the provision of state social services through a “single window” mechanism, based on innovative approaches, in an efficient and fully transparent manner. The DOST concept, initiated by First Vice-President Mehriban Aliyeva, has been awarded special prizes by reputable international organizations, and today a number of countries show great interest in the DOST experience.
It was noted that since 2019, 7 DOST Centers, 2 DOST branches, a “Smart DOST” service point, and 2 DOST service points have been commissioned in Baku and the regions. In order to ensure that residents resettled in the territories liberated from occupation also benefit from DOST services, the Karabakh Regional DOST Center has been established, as well as a “Smart DOST” service point in Zangilan, DOST branches in Shusha and Tartar, and DOST service points in Kalbajar and Fuzuli.
It was highlighted that over the past period, 4.2 million citizens have been provided with services at DOST Centers, with a satisfaction rate of 98.8 percent. It was also noted that project and construction works are ongoing for the establishment of DOST Centers in Nakhchivan, Guba, Sabirabad, Sumgait, Ganja, and Masalli, as well as DOST branches in several other regions.
Farid Mammadov, Chairman of the Management Board of the DOST Agency, provided information on the Agency’s and its subordinate institutions’ activities over the past year and their strategic objectives for 2026. The meeting also discussed the work carried out in the field of DOST services and the goals ahead.
