The next meeting of the “Labour Market” Working Group, led by the Ministry of Labour and Social Protection of Population under the Commission on Business Environment and International Ratings, was held.
The meeting was attended by the Head of the Working Group, Deputy Minister of Labour and Social Protection of Population Rashad Mustafayev, Head of the Commission’s Secretariat and Sector Head at the Presidential Administration Vusal Shikhaliyev, as well as representatives of government and non-government institutions represented in the Working Group.
Presentations were delivered on the Working Group’s Action Plan for 2026, as well as the draft Roadmap for 2026 related to the “Labour Force” indicator of the World Bank Group’s “Business Ready” report.
The meeting also discussed progress made in labour market development, improvement of labour legislation, expansion of active labour market programmes, and enhancement of workforce skills, as well as measures planned for implementation in the coming year.
