Employees of the Social Services Agency, under the Ministry of Labour and Social Protection of Population, visited Vera Kvitkova, a resident of Shirvan city who receives home-based social services, on her birthday — the day she turned 100.
Agency staff congratulated her on her 100th anniversary, wishing her good health and long life. It was emphasized that she will continue to remain under state care.
Vera Kvitkova expressed her gratitude for the attention shown to her.
The Agency provides home-based (mobile) social services to elderly persons who lack able-bodied relatives or legal representatives living in the same settlement, as well as to elderly couples and persons with disabilities who are in need of social services.
Currently, the Agency provides home-based social services to nearly 3,2 thousand elderly and disabled individuals across the country.
