In recent days, nearly 20 individuals from vulnerable groups have been involved in training at the “DOST House”.
Today marks two years since the inauguration of the Ismayilli branch of the DOST Inclusive Development and Creativity Center, operating under the Ministry of Labour and Social Protection of Population.
The “DOST House”, inaugurated on 15 November 2023 with the participation of President Ilham Aliyev and First Lady Mehriban Aliyeva, aims to support the development of creative potential and social integration of persons with disabilities, family members of martyrs, and other vulnerable population groups living in Ismayilli and surrounding districts.
At the center, beneficiaries enhance their skills and professional abilities in pottery, artistic carving, tailoring, carpet weaving, and bakery workshops.
In recent days, nearly 20 additional individuals from vulnerable groups have been engaged in training at the “DOST House”.
Overall, the institution consists of 6 workshops across 10 training areas. During the past period, nearly 60 beneficiaries from three vulnerable categories have participated in various creative training programs. Currently, 46 beneficiaries from vulnerable groups are continuing to develop their skills in different areas at the branch.
Various projects aimed at strengthening the social protection of beneficiaries, as well as events (masterclasses, info tours, concert programs, etc.) held in cooperation with state and non-governmental organizations, are also implemented at the “DOST House”.
