The Ministry of Labour and Social Protection of the Population held a webinar with the participation of more than 300 employers on key amendments made to labour legislation.
The webinar aimed to inform employers about the essence of a large-scale reform package covering more than 450 amendments to the Labour Code, which entered into force in January this year.
Fuad Heydarov, Head of the Labour Policy Department of the Ministry’s Office, provided information on the changes shaping new approaches in labour relations. The importance of these changes in increasing transparency in labour relations, ensuring more effective protection of workers’ rights, and creating a clearer legal framework for employers was emphasised.
Presentations were delivered by the department’s staff. The presentations comprehensively explained the main amendments to labour legislation, their implementation mechanisms, and practical recommendations for employers.
The webinar was met with great interest by employers. Their questions were answered in detail, and explanations were provided based on real practical situations.
