A meeting was held at the Ministry of Labour and Social Protection of the Population with employers to discuss upcoming tasks related to ensuring sustainable employment in the territories liberated from occupation.
Deputy Minister of Labour and Social Protection of the Population Rashad Mustafayev provided information on active labour market programmes being implemented in Karabakh and East Zangezur, emphasizing that close cooperation with employers has been established in the implementation and expansion of these programmes.
Representatives of various institutions participated in the meeting, including the Ministry of Ecology and Natural Resources, Ministry of Culture, Ministry of Economy, Ministry of Science and Education, Ministry of Defence, State Border Service, State Committee for Refugees and Internally Displaced Persons, Social Development Fund for Internally Displaced Persons, Center for Analysis of Economic Reforms and Communication, Azerbaijan Transport and Communications Holding, Management Union of Medical Territorial Units (TABIB), Mine Action Agency, and the State Agency of Azerbaijan Automobile Roads.
During the meeting, discussions were held on the work carried out to ensure employment for citizens resettled and planned to be resettled in the liberated territories, as well as on measures to further strengthen efforts in this area. Employers were also provided with detailed information on incentives and privileges available for employees and employers in the liberated territories.
