More than 130 people have already benefited from the “Let Your Voice Be Heard” online sign language interpretation service provided by the State Medical-Social Expertise and Rehabilitation Agency under the Ministry of Labour and Social Protection of Population.
Launched on July 28 this year, the service ensures that people with hearing and speech impairments can communicate their requests to third parties (state institutions, private sector, etc.). The service acts as a “virtual bridge” between citizens and parties who do not know sign language. The process works as follows:
To use the service, citizens can contact 055 213 19 97 via WhatsApp or Telegram, six days a week (Monday–Saturday) from 9:00 to 16:00, except Sundays.
The service allows persons with hearing and speech impairments to convey their requests accurately and conveniently. The project aims to support an inclusive environment, remove social communication barriers, and ensure effective information exchange between these individuals and the rest of society.
