A survey was conducted among the participants of the Self-Employment Program by the National Observatory on Labour Market and Social Protection Issues under the Ministry of Labour and Social Protection of Population.
The survey, commissioned by the State Employment Agency under the Ministry, involved 1100 individuals randomly selected from the self-employment registry.
According to the survey results, 80% of respondents were satisfied with the program, 94% appreciated the attitude of employment agency staff towards applicants, 89% were satisfied with the training sessions conducted under the program, and 83% expressed satisfaction with the application procedures for the program.
Of the respondents, 79% were satisfied with the variety of economic activity types covered by the program, 71% were content with the waiting time for receiving the program's support materials, and 70% reported that they are currently continuing the business they established with the support of the program.
Among the business types established with the program's support, the highest sustainability rates were observed in the following categories: auto mechanic services (89%), small tailoring workshops (87%), women’s beauty salons (83%), flour production (75%), and goat farming (73%).
The highest business sustainability was found in the services sector (78%), followed by manufacturing (72%) and agriculture (64%).
