A new admission process has been carried out at the Karabakh “DOST House” branch of the DOST Inclusive Development and Creativity Centre located in Barda. Following an assessment by the Evaluation Commission, 21 new beneficiaries from three vulnerable groups have been enrolled in training programmes at the facility.
At the Karabakh “DOST House”, they will enhance their skills through training in visual arts, floristry, carpet weaving and music. As a result, the total number of beneficiaries receiving services at the centre has reached 72 people.
The Karabakh “DOST House” also provides training in culinary arts, knitting, embroidery and artistic wood carving. Four beneficiaries who successfully completed their training at the DOST Inclusive Development and Creativity Centre are currently continuing their activities at the branch as trainers.
The centre supports the development of the creative potential of persons with disabilities, members of martyrs’ families, persons with war-related disabilities and their children, orphans or children deprived of parental care, and members of low-income families living in Barda and surrounding regions.
Residents belonging to these categories can register to benefit from the services of the Karabakh “DOST House” by applying to DOST centres or local representations of the Social Services Agency.
