The implementation of 5 social reform packages covering more than 4 million citizens in 2018-2025 has allowed for significant increases in lump-sum benefits, as well as other social payments.
During that period, the amount of lump-sum benefits for the birth of a child was increased 6,7 times to 600 manats, and for funeral expenses - 5 times to 600 manats. The lump-sum benefit for annual treatment of persons affected by radiation accidents has also increased 1,5 times and currently amounts to 300 manats.
The amount of lump-sum benefits for persons in need of medical and social assistance who have been released from prison has been increased 3,5 times to 1600 manats in 2018-2025.
