The Social Services Agency under the Ministry of Labour and Social Protection of Population organized a meeting with foster parents and children deprived of parental care placed under their care.
At the meeting held at the Center under the Ministry, an exchange of views was held with the participants on the “Foster Family” care model.
The rules of behavior with children, their social rehabilitation and the advantages of growing up in family care were discussed.
In total, 14 foster families participated in the meeting, and the proposals of the guests were listened to. They were provided with information about the activities of the DOST Center for Inclusive Development and Creativity.
The Center's instructors also held master classes for the guests in pottery, floristry, carpet weaving, beadwork, and artistic embroidery. At the end, they were presented with symbolic gifts prepared by beneficiaries of the Agency's Vocational Rehabilitation Center for Persons with Disabilities.
