A delegation consisting of representatives of the Ministry of Labour and Social Protection of Population and the State Employment Agency under the Ministry, and the DOST Digital Innovation Center is on an official visit to the city of Ankara, Türkiye.
The visit took place within the framework of the implementation of the Action Plan for 2024-2025 signed between the Ministry of Labour and Social Protection of Population of the Republic of Azerbaijan and the Ministry of Labour and Social Protection of the Republic of Türkiye.
The delegation met with the Deputy Minister of Labour and Social Protection of Türkiye, Lutfihak Alpkan. It was emphasized that there is a broad agenda of cooperation between Azerbaijan and Türkiye in the fields of labour, employment and social protection, as in all areas.
The Chairman of the Board of the State Employment Agency, Sadig Aliyev, provided information on the employment programs implemented in our country and the digital services created in recent years in the field of labour and employment. The importance of consistent exchange of experience in the mentioned field was highlighted at the meeting.
The Ministry's representatives also met with the Chairman of the General Directorate of the Türkiye Employment Agency (İŞKUR) Samet Gunesh and the heads of the organization's regular structural divisions. Discussions were held on the effective organization of the vocational training process and the application of digital solutions in the implementation of employment services.
The delegation, which visited the Sinjan Service Center of İŞKUR, got acquainted with the activities of the Center.
Within the framework of the visit, which will last until June 27, the Ministry's representatives will also visit the Türkiye Vocational Qualifications Agency and the MYK Authorized Certification Agency and will exchange experiences.
