Insured person – employees of the diplomatic missions of the Republic of Azerbaijan in respect of whom insurance activity is carried out.
The head of a diplomatic mission of the Republic of Azerbaijan is insured in the amount of eleven thousand manats, other diplomatic service employees in the amount of six thousand six hundred manats, and administrative-technical service employees in the amount of four thousand four hundred manats.
The death of the insured person as a result of an individual accident or damage to health (determination of disability and/or sustaining an injury) is considered an insured event, and insurance payments are made at the relevant percentage rates of the insurance amount:
-death – 100%;
-for impairment of body functions by 81–100% – 80%;
-for impairment of body functions by 61–80% – 60%;
-for impairment of body functions by 31–60% – 40%;
-sustaining a severe injury without determination of disability – 20%;
-sustaining a moderately severe injury – 15%;
-sustaining a minor injury – 10%.
