Insured person – judges, employees of the prosecution authorities (excluding employees of military prosecution authorities), investigators, persons serving in justice and migration authorities, persons conducting inquiries, carrying out operational-search activities, as well as employees of the body (institution) determined by the relevant executive authority who ensure public order, organise customs activities, and eliminate the consequences of emergencies, in respect of whom insurance activity is carried out.
The insured person is insured in the amount of a five-year labour remuneration.
The death, injury (wound, trauma, contusion), and/or determination of disability of insured persons in connection with the performance of their official duties are considered insured events, and insurance payments are made at the relevant percentage rates of the insurance amount:
a) if the insured person is killed (dies) while serving in judicial or law enforcement authorities – 100%;
b) if the insured person dies within three years after leaving service due to an injury (wound, trauma, contusion) sustained while in service – 100%;
c) if disability of the insured person is determined:
-for impairment of body functions by 81–100% – 80%;
-for impairment of body functions by 61–80% – 60%;
-for impairment of body functions by 31–60% – 40%;
ç) if the insured person:
-sustains a severe injury (wound, trauma, contusion) – 20%;
-sustains a moderately severe injury (wound, trauma, contusion) – 15%;
-sustains a minor injury (wound, trauma, contusion) – 10%.
