Pursuant to Article 3.1 of the Conditions and Procedure for the Provision of Rehabilitation Means to Persons with Disabilities, approved by Resolution No. 501 of the Cabinet of Ministers of the Republic of Azerbaijan dated 18 December 2020, the following privileged persons are provided with passenger cars by the Ministry of Labour and Social Protection of the Population:
With regard to the above-mentioned privileged persons, based on the relevant opinion of the State Agency for Medical and Social Expertise and Rehabilitation under the Ministry concerning the assignment of a passenger car, they are registered in the vehicle waiting list at the Social Services Agency and are provided with cars in accordance with the order of priority.
A person may obtain information about their position in the queue by accessing their personal account on the Ministry’s “e-social” internet portal.
Where the right arises, until the person is provided with a passenger car, the Social Services Agency pays them monetary compensation twice a year in the amount of 20 per cent of the minimum labour pension as transport expenses.
Persons whose disability has been determined in connection with the defence of the territorial integrity, independence, and constitutional order of the Republic of Azerbaijan are provided with passenger cars on a priority basis.
