Insured person – persons serving in military service in the Armed Forces of the Republic of Azerbaijan, state security, foreign intelligence bodies, intelligence and counterintelligence activity entities, as well as other state bodies (entities included in the structure of state bodies) where military service is prescribed by law, and military reservists participating in training assemblies, in respect of whom insurance activity is carried out.
The insured person is insured in the amount of eleven thousand manats.
The following are considered insured events, and insurance payments are made at the relevant percentage rates of the insurance amount:
a) if the insured person is killed, dies, or is declared dead by a court decision due to being missing while in active military service (or training assembly) — 100%;
b) if the insured person dies within three years after discharge from service (or training assembly) as a result of injury (wound, trauma, contusion) sustained or illness contracted while in active military service (or training assembly) — 100%;
c) if the insured person goes missing while in active military service (or training assembly) (where there is a court decision that has entered into legal force) — 100%;
ç) if, while performing military duties (official duties) or during active military service (or training assembly), the insured person sustains injury (wound, trauma, contusion) or contracts an illness, is deemed unfit for active military service (or training assembly), and is discharged to the reserve or retired, as well as if the insured person’s disability is determined within three years from the date of discharge to the reserve or retirement in connection with an injury (wound, trauma, contusion) or illness sustained during active military service (or training assembly):
d) if, while in active military service (or training assembly), the insured person sustains injuries that do not result in the outcomes provided for in subparagraphs a, b and ç of this clause:
